About the temple

The celebrated "Dakshina Triveni Sangamam" (Southern Prayag); situated at the sacred holy confluence of three rivers: the holy Kaveri, Bhavani, and the invisible subterranean Amudha River; where Kubera obtained divine wealth; famed for ancestral rites (Pitru Pinda Tarpanam) and the divine cradle (Maruthuvachari) where British Collector William Garrow was miraculously saved from an earthquake. Traditional belief: Equal merit to bathing at Prayag Triveni Sangam; absolution from ancestral sins (Pitru Dosha), relief from snake afflictions (Sarpa Dosha), and grant of longevity.
